Notice of the Provincial Department of Commerce on Implementing the 2024 "Thousand Enterprises and Hundred Exhibitions to Expand the Overseas Market" Action

To the commercial bureaus of various cities, prefectures, directly administered cities, Shennongjia Forest District, and relevant enterprises:
In order to further support and encourage foreign trade enterprises in our province to actively "go out" and explore diverse international markets, promote the expansion and improvement of foreign trade in the province, stabilize and improve, the Provincial Department of Commerce has decided to implement the "Thousand Enterprises and Hundred Exhibitions Overseas Market Expansion" action in 2024.

The relevant work notice is as follows:
1、 Exhibition principles. In accordance with the principle of "focusing on characteristic industries and optimizing diversified markets", and centering on the modern industrial clusters, five advantageous industries, nine emerging characteristic industries and their upstream and downstream supply chain fields in our province, we should guide enterprises to deeply explore traditional markets such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, actively explore emerging markets such as ASEAN, Central East, and Africa, and accelerate the development of trade among RCEP member countries and countries along the "the Belt and Road".
2、 Exhibition arrangements. The action plan arranges a total of 150 international market development exhibitions, including 6 comprehensive industrial exhibitions, 8 optoelectronic information exhibitions, 15 automobile manufacturing exhibitions, 12 chemical and energy exhibitions, 19 pharmaceutical and medical exhibitions, 25 agricultural and food exhibitions, 18 equipment manufacturing exhibitions, 14 textile and clothing exhibitions, 17 home building materials exhibitions, 10 infant and child, gift and other light industry exhibitions, and 6 other comprehensive exhibitions. There were 42 exhibitions in RCEP area and 70 exhibitions in countries jointly built along the "the Belt and Road".
3、 Exhibition method. For key overseas exhibitions with high compatibility, large scale, and good results with industries such as high-end equipment, medical, automotive parts, food, and baby stroller in our province, the Provincial Department of Commerce will organize them uniformly to create an overall export brand image. Each city and prefecture will implement a "claim" responsibility system in conjunction with local advantageous industries, and encourage group participation in exhibitions. Some exhibitions related to specific fields are encouraged for enterprises to participate on their own. Provide support for exhibition booth fees and other expenses for participating enterprises, and the support ratio and limit shall be implemented in accordance with relevant regulations. Support enterprises to choose exhibition organizations to participate in exhibitions abroad in a market-oriented manner. If necessary, please consult our department (Foreign Trade Department).
4、 Job requirements. Local commercial authorities should attach great importance to it, actively promote and organize local enterprises to participate in relevant exhibitions. For key exhibitions that are suitable for the industrial characteristics of the local area, we support the participation of leaders from cities and counties (districts), and effectively carry out the exhibition organization work of "Thousand Enterprises, Hundred Exhibitions, and Overseas Market Expansion" in 2024, fully promoting foreign trade enterprises in our province to seize orders and expand markets.
